so.... if you want an interpretation of that... i would have to say "Etislat is driving my crazzzzy"

don't you think i deserve the chocolate fudge? ;o)

  6. okay, let me take a crack at it :)

Fig 1 is the famous sculpture "psyche revived by the kiss of love" - depicting the moment when Psyche, the human is revived by her immortal lover Eros (or Cupid depending on whether you dig greek or roman mythology :p). The sculpture depicts their eternal love. Their bodies are entangled in that embrace and nothing can separate them.

Fig 2 is the Dirac notation of an example of an "Entangled State" from Quantum Physics. Entangled States are states that cannot be decomposed into separate components.

So the concept of "entanglement" on "non -decomposability" is what is common to both the pics

Anyways, its been a long time since I went anywhere near a Quantum Mechanics book. But this was interesting :). So, am I correct?

  7. Oh my god - I'm afraid both of them look like Greek to me (the sculpture is probably Greek isnt it)

  9. @bloggerhead: Hi! Don't worry too much about the messed up head, I can out do anybody in that category anyday. :o) Nice to have you on the blog.

@sonia: You have a treat lined up as it is, so.. maybe.. I can have the chocolate fudge this one time! ;o)

@river: Hee hee! :D Okay.. just because you seem to like chocolate as much as I do... you can have it.

@treefrog: BINGO! Woohoo ... the question makes sense to somebody... I am feeling very very happy! :o)

@essar: It's based on Greek mythology if that's what you mean. It's from 18-19th century Italy, by Antonio Canova.

@scout: Pleasure is mine. It's not everyday that I make the roll. :)
